Getting around Auckland
Buses, trains and ferries make it easy and convenient to get around Auckland.
The Link bus connects Auckland city fringe suburbs with the central business district. There are also free environmentally-friendly, hybrid City Circuit buses that follow a route around the inner city. Buses run to all parts of the Auckland region from the Britomart transport centre, downtown. Trains run regularly to central, south and west Auckland suburbs from the Britomart rail station.
A number of regular passenger and vehicle ferries travel from Auckland City to various locations on the North Shore and Manukau, as well as many of Auckland’s islands, including Waiheke and Great Barrier in the Hauraki Gulf.
The City Circuit bus is a red, hybrid electric public transport option. Each bus has 30 passenger seats and has low floor access and wide entry/exit doors. It travels along Queen Street down to Britomart on the waterfront, to Albert Park, Symonds Street and along Wellesley Street to the Sky Tower. The City Circuit operates seven days a week, every ten minutes between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

How to get to Auckland Airport
Airbus Express is Auckland’s cheapest airport transfer service and leaves Auckland Airport and city every 15 minutes during the day. Please refer to timetable for exact departure times from your closest stop.
